The 138th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) grandly opened on October 15, 2025, in Guangzhou, China, and is currently in its third phase. By the end of the second phase, the fair had attracted nearly 240,000 overseas buyers from 223 countries and regions, marking a 6.8% increase compared with the previous session. In addition, 140 overseas business organizations attended in delegations, up 9.3% year on year. Notably, the number of buyers from the European Union, the Middle East, the United States, and South America saw significant growth, bringing a strong “foreign trade momentum” and creating more business opportunities for exhibitors. The second phase of this year’s Canton Fair was held from October 23 to 27, focusing on the theme of “Quality Home Life.” It showcased three major sectors—household products, gifts and decorations, and building materials and furniture—across an exhibition area of 515,000 square meters.
